![]() ![]() I can see as far as you would be able to in real life with perfect sharpness and absolutely no blur. I turn steamvr up to 135 and boot into the race, and HOLY SHIT - the clarity is insane. Before I made this change to steamvr ss and was still running my old settings, I did this same race and was at a mostly solid 90 fps except for the very start. I booted into a stress test race (31 GTE cars at Road America, sunrise with rain). Keep in mind on an Odyssey+ too, so this is a pretty high resolution. I turned the PC2 SS slider to 1.0, and turned up SteamVR ss to 135%. So I thought it was just a case of PC2 being not very well optimized.Īs it ended up, my 1080Ti was barely breaking a sweat rendering the game at 1.0SS with mostly low settings, and I was severely CPU bound. I would still occasionally drop GPU frames racing, but my GPU frametimes were low, never really getting above 9ms. I have googled this a couple of times before, but never found a solid answer to it. My GPU usage while racing was pretty low, only about 50 or 60%. So while I thought I've been running at 1.3 ss, truth is, the SteamVR SS setting was overruling the PC2 setting and I have been running at 1.0.īut why was my performance still bad? Well, I noticed another strange thing. I tested it at 1.0 and 2.0 and had the same graphic fidelity and performance. I have no idea if this is only the case for WMR or if it is true for the Rift and Vive also, but the in game SS slider simply does nothing. There's only one problem - that slider doesn't do anything. Based on the advice of many forum posts, I have been running SteamVR supersampling at only 100% (I achieved this by setting PC2 to run at 66% SS in steamvr settings, which downscaled it to 100% from my 150% global setting.) I have been using the in-game supersampling under the VR settings menu to control SS. Now here's where everything changed for me. They worked well, but I started to get annoyed with track pop-in and nonexistant shadows, so I changed Track Detail to Medium and Shadow Detail to Low to fix this. I used the settings from this video initally. So it's a pretty solid PC, the weakpoint of course being my aging CPU.Īnd let me tell you about the settings I was running. First, let me tell you about my hardware: ![]() Tonight, during an especially laggy race at Long Beach, I decided to try some different stuff out. I, like I know many others have, have constantly been fed up with trying to balance performance and graphic fidelity and I personally never end up satisfied. I have been playing Project Cars 2 in VR for a while now, and have logged about 300 hours so far. This is a long post but I want to share my solution to my frustrations of performance in PC2 VR. ![]()

![]() ![]() If your team members correspond by e-mail, your editors must continually switch between their e-mail program and their document editing program. If you have a virtual team whose members are scattered across several locations, the difficulty of content discussion and review increases. This can be difficult, even when team members all work in the same physical location. Teams often need to discuss and review document content. To turn version tracking on or off, you must be a member of a site group with the Manage Lists right for that SharePoint site. Version tracking in Windows SharePoint Services can help your team track and manage the document creation and editing process quickly and efficiently. This is particularly useful if you must roll back a document to a previous version or if you must retrieve data that was deleted from an earlier version of a document. Windows SharePoint Services keeps copies of previous versions of each document so you can go back and view the changes that were made to a document at any time. Windows SharePoint Services also handles version tracking for documents stored on a SharePoint site. To check out a document, you must be a member of a site group with the Edit Items right for that SharePoint site. When you finish working on the document, you can check in the document so other users can work on it. This helps prevent the confusion that can occur when multiple users make simultaneous changes to the same document. When you do this, other users cannot make changes to the document. First, if you want to work on a document that is stored in a document library, you can check out the document. To prevent these problems, Windows SharePoint Services provides an intuitive, easy-to-use method for tracking the version history of a document. Trying to track changes can lead to confusion and lost productivity, especially if a document must be rolled back to an earlier version. ![]() Identifying the latest version of a document is difficult, and multiple users may edit a document at the same time, resulting in conflicting versions. The problem with these methods is that they can quickly become confusing. Most traditional document sharing methods use e-mail or file shares for documents that have multiple authors or editors. This makes it much easier for users to classify documents correctly and to find documents at a later time. You can customize the schema for document metadata, which means that you can create libraries that are customized for different types of documents. ![]() When you close the document, you may be prompted to add or update metadata, or you can use the Document Information tab on the new Shared Workspace task pane in your Office application to view and modify document metadata. When you save a document in a document library, Office 2007 also stores metadata for the document in the library. You can use the File menu to open or save documents in a document library on a SharePoint site. Additionally, you can take advantage of these features when you use a Web browser to search, browse, or collaborate on documents that are stored on a SharePoint site.ĭocument sharing is fully integrated into the File menu in most Office 2007 applications.
